We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO and would absolutely recommend it. John was a fantastic host. He was very communicative and provided all the necessary information clearly and promptly, which made everything easy from start to finish. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and lovely, with plenty of space for our whole family to spread out and relax. Unfortunately, it was very cold during our stay to enjoy the pool. Without us even asking, John proactively offered to refund the pool heating fee, which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. The location was another big plus. The home is close to Legoland and Disney, and it’s easily accessible from major roads, making it very convenient for getting around. Overall, this was a great experience with an attentive host and a comfortable, well-located home. We would happily stay here again.

We received thorough information about the home, directions, WiFi etc prior to arriving and great communication from John throughout our stay.   The villa was beautiful – nicely decorated with lovely furniture and fittings. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, and super washing and drying facilities and a well equipped games room. The pool area was well kept with comfortable furniture. The location was fantastic! A lovely quiet community and very close to supermarkets and restaurants and near to Disney parks.

A couple of minor issues were resolved promptly by John and his management company.

Would highly recommend a stay at John’s beautiful home.

We stayed at John's villa for 3 weeks in September 2025. 6 adults, mixed family group. The villa was in a perfect location for us as we know the area well, the proximity to Berry Town centre was super handy, also close to the main roads that we used regularly to get everywhere else.

The villa itself is very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you would need for a great holiday, especially if your were cooking meals. The washing machine and dryer are great as it meant we didn't have to take home dirty laundry and we could take less clothes meaning more space for those inevitable purchases!

The pool area is spacious, with plenty of seating and the pool is clean and well maintained. We had pool heating as I'm not a fan of early morning icy dips,  the cost of this was very reasonable and made a huge difference to our enjoyment of the pool.

This is the first time we have stayed in a villa that is not within a gated community and at no time did we feel unsafe, the house is in a pleasant residential area which was quiet and well maintained.

John is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble, we are very much looking forward to booking again.

We had a lovely stay at Hillcrest! The villa itself was clean and tidy. Johns communications were excellent and very quick. The storm blew a pool cover panel out and it was fixed very quickly. The location was really good – people always worry about Davenport being too far out but this was in a great location, 20 mins actually right into Disney, traffic was good. Walmart 10 mins away, shops and restaurants.

We’d never booked a private villa before and were a little apprehensive, but didn’t need to be. John’s communication was fantastic from start to finish, with plenty of helpful tips along the way. The kids loved the pool, and the villa’s location was spot on with loads of amenities nearby. Everything felt easy, well-supported, and stress-free. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend — we’ll likely be back next year!

My family and I have just returned from three glorious weeks in sunny Florida, and it was as wonderful as ever!

We spent our first two weeks of this stay in John’s Villa on Hillcrest and the whole experience of staying there,  along with the professional,  friendly and lovely support of John as the villa’s owner only added to our enjoyment. 

The villa itself is in an excellent location,  only a stones throw from Disney at a drive of 10-15 minutes, including it’s waterparks and miniature golf courses. Its nearby a huge selection of restaurants, shops and supermarkets, along with being very convenient to numerous golf courses including Orange Lake and Highlands Reserve,  which my dad was thrilled about as a keen golfer, who had taken his clubs along for the holiday. 

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the villa to anyone for their stay.  It was great all around,  along with having the added support and guidance from John,  who is a true gentleman and just at the other end of the phone for a message should you have any questions or need any form of assistance. 

The villa has everything you need as a family and has been well looked after,  having all facilities you would want for an enjoyable stay in the area,  including a lovely pool in a lanai, 4 bedrooms and a games room.

John is a very proactive and friendly host and responds very quickly to messages. His home is great, nicely furnished and quietly located, the right place for a family or group who wants to relax. The kitchen is really well equipped and has everything you need to cater for yourself. The outdoor lighting is very nice, the pool is a great way to cool off and is most beautiful at sunset. We can recommend John and his house without hesitation.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa in Orlando! The home was absolutely spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a perfect family holiday. The private pool was a highlight—we spent hours relaxing and swimming every day.

The games room was such a bonus! It kept the kids (and adults!) entertained in the evenings with pool , ping pong

It really made the trip feel extra fun and special.

The location was excellent—peaceful and quiet, but still close to all the major theme parks, restaurants, and shops. Getting to Disney was quick and easy, and it was great to come back to such a relaxing space after a busy day out.

The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely book again.

My extended family and I had an awesome 3-week stay at John’s villa. It was our first time trying this place since our usual spot wasn’t available, and we were not disappointed with our choice! The villa is spacious, comfy, modern, and beautifully decorated and maintained. Our kids absolutely loved the Disney-themed bedroom and the fun playroom – they even picked up some table tennis and pool during the occasional rainy day, which is inevitable in Orlando.

The pool area, with its great screening, was perfect for relaxing and having fun when we weren’t hitting the theme parks. The living room, equipped with a modern TV and excellent internet, was just right for catching a movie or a sports event.

As for the location, it was spot on for us. There are restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops, and bars just a short drive away (or a 10-15 minute walk), and the main theme parks are super easy to get to.

John was an attentive host, always ready to help or answer any questions, making sure our holiday was as comfortable as possible.

We’ll definitely be staying here again in the future!

This villa is absolutely worth it! It’s spotless,

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hillcrest Villa, it is very well equipped and comfortable. As a family of 4 we had all the space we could possibly need and more. We were able to enjoy family time in the pool and games room, we added pool heat which was definitely needed the 2nd week. Easy access to the parks and an abundance of restaurants near by. The thing that made this stay exceptional was John’s communication. We would recommend this villa.

This Villa is in a very good location, with quick access to all the parks and tourist areas. The layout of the villa is very spacious, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bath/shower rooms, a large living area and kitchen/diner area. Modern comfortable furniture and a great games room in the garage. The pool area is very spacious, with an outside fan and a lanai to keep the insects away. John (The owner) is within easy contact via WhatsApp or email if there any issues and is keen to deal with his customers directly, which is much better than trying to deal with property management companies that usually only work 9-5. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay there, and would have no hesitation booking again if this villa is available when we make a new booking.
